The purpose of the School is to train in-demand personnel for the creative economy and the media sphere with high creative potential and research skills. The School of Creative Industry, established in 2022, strives to combine educational traditions and advanced technologies in the areas of management, content creation and the formation of an inclusive academic community.

Classes are taught by highly qualified faculty and academic staff, including 15 doctors and candidates of sciences, 25 masters. Of these, there are the best graduates of leading foreign and domestic higher educational establishments, holders of the Bolashak international scholarship.
The principles of practice-oriented learning are being implemented in the School of Creative Industry. Experienced employees of the country’s leading companies are involved in teaching, including Qazaqstan Republican Television and Radio Corporation, National Information Technologies JSC, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company, the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.
The students of the School became the founders of student clubs and university traditions to develop the volunteer movement, the AITU Volunteers media community, AITU Media Club, Digital Sky and others. More than 10 works of students won the intra-university stage of the Student Research Works competition, 2 were the winners of the republican stage.
More than 20 articles have been published in domestic and international scientific publications, 4 copyright certificates for scientific and technical works have been obtained.
The scientists of the School of Creative Industry are implementing scientific and technical projects on grant financing: “Assessment of investments for the development of the oil refining and petrochemical sectors of the economy of Kazakhstan” within the framework of the Program of targeted financing (Professor Urpash Shalbolova) and Digital transformation for creating circular economy in tourism within the framework of the postdoctoral program Zhas Galym (Assistant Professor Samalgul Nasanbekova).
For the first time, the work of sections in the relevant areas of the School of Creative Industry was organized within the framework of the IEEE conferences, AITU: Digital Generation.
