On May 24, 2022, as part of the marathon on the internationalization of our university, as well as the implementation of the concept of training engineers and professionals at the intersection of public administration and digitalization of G-Tech through lifelong learning technologies “Life-long learning” and “Digital public administration and services” programs, the leadership of Astana IT University held an official meeting with Advisor on Culture and Education of the Embassy of Turkey in the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Abdulmuttalib CETIN, Professor Sonel Bosnaly from Nazarbayev University, Professor Gulbanu Duman, East Kazakhstan State University, Professor Sadullah Duman from East Kazakhstan State University.
During the meeting, issues of establishing cooperation between Astana IT University and leading universities in Turkey, as well as prospects for cooperation with leading IT companies in Turkey were discussed. Additionally, at this event, on behalf of the Turkish Embassy to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Abdulmuttalib Chetin donated a book to the library of Astana IT University. The fund of the universal scientific library of Astana IT University has been replenished with an extraordinary work by the Turkish thinker Nihad Sami Banarli.
The staff of Astana IT University sincerely express their gratitude towards the Embassy of Turkey for the donated book, which took a worthy place in the library’s collection.
To further fully provide the process with the best world practices, AITU is interested in establishing links with both leading educational institutions and business and industry structures of the Republic of Turkey. So, during the business trip of the AITU top management from March 14 to March 16, 2022, they came to an agreement for establishing mutual collaboration with the following universities: Gazi University, METU University, Hacetteppe University, Ankara University, Sakarya University in terms of conducting joint scientific research, scientific conferences, participation in summer schools, inviting foreign professors to give lectures, an incoming/outgoing academic program for students and teaching staff, internships for our graduates. Also, as part of this business trip, the AITU delegation visited leading Turkish IT companies and reached an agreement on the practical training of AITU students in Turkish companies.
