On October 30, the opening ceremony of the Korean cultural corner took place at the AITU Scientific Library. Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstan, students and university staff took part in the ceremony. Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Choi Dehun and Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs of AITU Mr. Bolatzhan Kumalakov delivered a welcoming speech. The event ended with a concert program of student creative groups.
It should be noted that the Korean Foundation donated 300 pieces of literature in Korean and English languages, office equipment and souvenirs to AITU.
