In March 2023, Astana IT University signed memoranda of cooperation with Indian higher educational institutions Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee following online meetings organized by Mr. Sanjay Vedi, Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre. The parties shall cooperate in the following areas:
• Visits and exchange of teachers and research scientists;
• Student exchange for semester studies or short-term internships;
• Exchange of information including, but not limited to, research publications;
• Joint research activities and joint management of research work;
• Joint conferences or symposiums in areas of mutual interest.
April 24 – 28, Astana IT University’s delegation plan to visit the above-mentioned universities in order to strengthen cooperation in the field of academic mobility of students, get acquainted with the teaching staff, and discuss the possibility of developing and implementing double-degree programs with IIT Bombay and IIT Roorkee.
