A student of the Department of Computational Data and Science Adilzhan Aulbekov and a senior-lecturer of the Computer Engineering Department of Astana IT University Amanbek Yerassyl participated in the first Central Asia Youth Delegation Summit.
Indian government have invited delegates from central Asian countries to show cultural sites of India and deepen the bonds between countries. Two of the delegates from Kazakhstan were selected from Astana IT University. During the trip, our delegates have visited many historical places, including Taj Mahal in Agra, Indian gate, film studio in Mumbai and museums in Delhi.
It was 7 day intense political and cultural program in 3 cities of India, where our delegates have learned about history and culture of Indian people. By visiting Prime Ministers Museum they learned about history of Independence of India. Delegates were warmly welcomed to the House of the Governor in Mumbai and in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, demonstrating cultural diplomacy. In addition, during the trip to Mumbai, delegates have visited Medical Centre and learned about Cancer prevention techniques.
In the middle of the trip delegates have visited the Agra, where one of the new wonders is located – Taj Mahal.
Finally, in the last day our delegates have performed cultural program by wearing national costumes and showcasing national songs and dance.
Overall, delegates are thankful for the opportunity to government of India for organising the event, embassy of India in Kazakhstan for organising the trip, and embassy of Kazakhstan in India for organising Presidential election during the trip.
