The Educational and Methodological Council is a form of collegial management of academic activities of Astana IT University, which provides general guidance and coordination of educational and methodological activities of structural units in order to improve the effectiveness of academic activities of the university as a whole.
The Chairman of the Educational and Methodological Council is the First Vice-Rector. The Deputy Chairman of the UMS is the Director of the Department of Academic Activities.
The composition of the Academic Council is approved by the order of the rector.
The Academic Council consists of the Director of the Department of Academic Activities, the Dean, the Directors of the departments of the University, representatives of students and heads of other structural units involved in the academic activities of the University.
