On October 17, 2023, Sonny Calderon, Vice President of the New York Film Academy, paid visit to Astana IT University.
During the meeting, a presentation of the university was made, as well as suggestions on the main areas of cooperation.
Thus, the parties agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding in the areas of mutual academic mobility of teaching staff and students. Sonny Calderon, in turn, expressed his readiness to cooperate in conducting internships for teaching staff.
Following the meeting, a tour of the university was held, including the AITU media studio.
