Following the results of the negotiations held within the framework of the educational exhibition EURIE-2023 in Istanbul, with the participation of the Department of International Cooperation, issues of academic cooperation with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia were discussed.
The parties organized an online meeting in a wide format with the participation of the directors of the Departments of educational programs, the Dean, Vice-rector for Academic and students Affairs of Astana IT University.
UTM was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Ariffin Abu Hassan (Director, UTM International), Ts. Dr. Nur Azaliah Abu Bakar (Assistant Dean, Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics), Dr. Mohd Zamri Osman (International Coordinator, Faculty of Computing), Dr. Ahmad Fadhil Yusof (Acting Associate Director, UTM International), Hjh. Nor Azlinda Abu Bakar (Manager, International Student & Scholar Services, UTM International), Mr. Ahmad Hilman Borhan (Manager of UTM International), Ms. Nur Shafikah Misran (Global Strategy & Engagement, UTM International), Mr. Muhammad Salihin Mohd Noor (Global Strategy & Engagement, UTM International).
As a result of the online meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Letter of Collaboration in the areas of academic mobility of students and teaching staff.
