On May 29, 2024, Ms. Barbara Paoletti, a senior regional Policy Officer for Cyber and Security from the U.S. Department of State’s South and Central Asian Affairs Bureau, and representatives of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan visited Astana IT University.
During the meeting, Acting Rector A.A. Biloschitskyi made a presentation of AITU, and together with the heads of Departments of educational programs also presented wishes on the main areas of cooperation.
Ms. Paoletti has shown great interest in the field of technology development and education, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and telecommunications. Representatives of the US Embassy, in turn, expressed interest in sharing experiences and providing support for the development of education in the field of IT technology.
