Astana IT University has strengthened international ties by signing a memorandum of understanding with the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIK Institute).
The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid a state visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, during which Astana IT University Rector Altair Akhmetov signed the memorandum as a member of the official Kazakhstani delegation accompanying the Head of State.
GIK Institute, established in 1991 with over 2,000 students, delivers education in English. The memorandum enables joint educational and research projects and fosters academic mobility for students and faculty.
