On May 15, Astana IT University hosted a meeting with representatives of Exeter University, where they discussed prospects for future academic cooperation, joint research projects and exchange programs.
During the meeting, the Rector’s Advisor for Educational Projects Dr. Bolatzhan Kumalakov gave a presentation of AITU, and also presented his wishes on the main areas of cooperation. In turn, Prof. Stuart Bearhop, Deputy Vice-Rector for Global Affairs of the Faculty of Environment, Science and Economics, and Rachel Jones, Head of the Global Partnerships Department of the Faculty of Environment, Science and Economics, presented the British university and their vision for the development of cooperation between the two universities.
These initiatives will open up new opportunities for both students and teachers of AITU.
The visit was an important step in strengthening ties between educational institutions, promoting innovation and expanding the global educational experience.
