On October 16, 2024, the grand opening of the «Artificial Intelligence» and «MedTech» scientific and innovation centers took place at Astana IT University.
The «Artificial Intelligence» center focuses on developing cutting-edge AI-based solutions. Key projects include using technology for early breast cancer detection, livestock identification, and autonomous systems. One major project is a mobile sorting robot that can be used for inspecting trains and platforms, enhancing railway safety.
The «MedTech» center is working on developing digital solutions in telemedicine, improving mobile medical devices, and AI-supported decision-making systems for doctors. All of this is aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare.
