1. Participation in Orientation Week:
The university has developed a standard orientation plan, considering students’ feedback and suggestions. Based on their requests for more convenient dates and program optimization, necessary adjustments have been made to ensure a smoother and more effective adaptation process.

2. Impact of University Studies on Lifestyle:
To facilitate the successful adaptation of first-year students, foster professional and personal identity, and improve knowledge in challenging subjects, a Mentorship School was established. Starting from the third trimester, more than 50 mentors will assist students in mastering subjects such as Discrete Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Introduction to Programming, Calculus 1, Calculus 2.
Main objectives of the Mentorship School:
- Creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
- Teaching teamwork skills.
- Helping with academic adaptation.
3. Comfort Level in the New Environment:
To provide up-to-date information on schedules, events, and university news, as well as to enhance communication between students, faculty, and administration, Telegram bots, chats, news channels, and social media accounts have been launched.
Key communication tools:
- Telegram bot for Student Houses (launch in March 2025).
- News channels: DSVR News, AITUSA.
- Instagram accounts: AITU live, astana_it_students.
- “Sanaly Bot” Telegram bot.
- AITU Mailing (launch in April 2025).
4. Relationships Between Professors and Students:
A new initiative has been introduced to improve student-professor relationships. The AITU Psychological Center regularly conducts training sessions and seminars on topics such as:
- “Communication Skills in Teacher-Student Interaction”;
- “Emotional Intelligence as the Basis for Personal and Professional Harmony”.
Key aspects: - Support for professors.

- Stress reduction.
- Creating a positive university climate.
5. Student Self-Governance:
In December 2024, a new Student Government President was elected, and in January 2025, the new AITUSA team was formed. Their goal is to enhance student self-governance and encourage students’ active participation in university life.
Student Organizations:
- Sanaly Urpaq, AITU Volunteers, Mind Games, Music Club, Dance Club, KCA – fostering leadership, organizational, and creative skills.
- A new Student Assembly will be established to unite students of different nationalities.
