The research is aimed at studying the impact of various language policies and reforms on the educational and economic status of minority groups in Kazakhstan after 30 years of independence. The study aims to contribute to a better understanding of the role of education through language policy in mitigating or exacerbating socio-cultural, political and economic inequalities in the country.
