Scientific and technical Council of the University

The scientific and technical Council of the University (NTS) is the highest expert Advisory body of the University in the field of formation and practical implementation of scientific, scientific and technical and innovative activities.
The main objectives of the NTS are to develop the basic principles of formation and mechanisms for the practical implementation of scientific, scientific, technical and innovation policies.

MAIN TASKS OF THE NTS

– coordination of the work of scientific departments in the implementation of complex R & d, grant and innovation projects;
– determining the prospects for the development of scientific departments of the University, the directions of research carried out in them, their compliance with the profile of training specialists and educational programs of the University;
– analysis and evaluation of the main results of scientific research conducted at the University, as well as consideration of the results of scientific work of University departments;
– review and evaluation of reports on research and development, grant and innovation projects;
– consideration of issues and development of recommendations for popularization of the results of scientific and technical activities of the University, promotion of their commercialization;
– analysis of the interaction of structural divisions of the University’s research unit in terms of ensuring the management and coordination of the educational, research and production process and developing recommendations for improving the management of scientific activities at the University;
– promotion of international cooperation in the field of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative development of the University.

IEEE International Conference on Smart Information Systems and Technologies (SIST)

Unfortunately, the IEEE SIST 2021 organizing Committee has to inform you that the event has been postponed to April 28-30, 2021 due to COVID-19 and the epidemiological situation in Kazakhstan. The deadline for submitting articles has been extended to 31.01.2021.

  • Final version of the article: March 31, 2021
  • The proceedings of the IEEE conference will be presented in IEEE Xplore and indexed in Scopus and Web of Science after the conference presentation.

The main goal of the scientific publication is to provide an opportunity to exchange information in the scientific community, including at the international level.

Research laboratory

FabLab

The FabLab research laboratory is the material, technical and methodological base of the research process and is a specialized audience designed for joint activities of teachers and students in the application of research results in full compliance with current state educational standards, curricula and programs, as well as for consulting and technical work.

Main tasks of the FabLab laboratory

  • Providing the educational process, joint development with the necessary visual AIDS, modern equipment, instructions for conducting laboratory and practical classes, standard handouts, tables, technical tools, etc.;
  • Organization and conduct of fundamental, search and applied research on the Internet of things( IoT), creation of artificial intelligence algorithms, applied robotics, 3D modeling and 3D printing, and other areas of Industry 4.0, as well as work on the design and development of electronic devices and various structures and in accordance with the approved plan of the FabLab Laboratory;
  • Organization of work of student communities in the areas of the FabLab Laboratory;
  • Organization of lectures, conferences, meetings, conversations with employees of enterprises and specialized companies;
  • Efficient use of dedicated equipment, hardware, and tools;
  • Involvement of qualified specialists in the development and implementation of specialized courses and internships based on the FabLab Laboratory;
  • Implementation of project developments and contractual works on the Laboratory's subject;
  • Manufacturing of parts, devices, electronic and various devices on a contractual basis;
  • Providing jobs in the FabLab Laboratory on the principle of "Space as a service".
