To apply for a doctoral program, you must:

hold a Master’s degree;

have at least 9 months of work experience;

pass the entrance examinations on a competitive basis;

provide an international certificate confirming proficiency in a foreign language;

provide a KAZTEST certificate issued by the National Testing Center (NTC)

The process of admission

Important Dates:

Admission to the doctoral program is carried out on the following dates:
1) from August 15 to August 28 of the calendar year;
2) from December 26 to January 10 of the calendar year.

Completion of the entrance examination

Examination Schedule:

Summer Period
Registration: from July 3 to August 3 of the calendar year
Testing: from August 4 to August 20 of the calendar year

Winter Period
Registration: from October 28 to November 10 of the calendar year
Testing: from November 19 to December 11 of the calendar year

Registration for the exam is carried out through a personal account on the website testcenter.kz. Registration is paid.

Admission to the doctoral program on a state grant and on a paid basis is carried out under the same requirements. Educational grants are awarded to applicants who score at least 75 points and demonstrate the highest results in the competitive selection process.

Basis for admission:
- An international certificate confirming proficiency in a foreign language, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Mandatory conditions:
- Successful passing of the entrance exam in the profile of the doctoral program group.
- Scoring at least 75 points out of a possible 100.

Step 2. Online Submission of Documents

Document submission: from July 1 to August 28.

To submit documents, applicants to Astana IT University must register on the My DU Mobile online platform.

It's simple - follow these steps:

—Register in the application
—Upload all required documents
—Obtain preliminary approval from the Admissions Committee
—Select a date and be sure to bring the original documents in person to the university

Important: uploading documents in the app is only the first step. To be fully enrolled, you must submit the original documents in person. Enrollment is not possible without this. The original documents must be submitted by August 24.
