Mission of the School

Formation of a new generation of professionals for the creative economy and media sphere, possessing high creative potential and research skills.
The objective of the school

• Ensuring the quality of education in the field of the creative economy in accordance with international standards.
• Training professionals fully prepared for real working conditions: in convergent media newsrooms, leading design studios, GameDev companies, as well as in the film industry and production centers.
• Education focused on the practical mastery of all stages of production.
• Research of creative industries for the analysis and improvement of production processes.
Accreditation Information
In 2025, all educational programs of the School of Creative Industries successfully underwent international specialized accreditation by the National Accreditation and Rating Agency (NAAR/IAAR). The accreditation is valid for 5 years (until 2030), ensuring recognition of diplomas and high quality of the academic process.

Organizational Structure of the School
The structure of the School of Creative Industries is designed to ensure transparent governance and academic support:
• Academic Committee: The main body responsible for monitoring the quality of educational programs and improving them in line with labor market demands. It is engaged in updating course catalogs, monitoring curricula, and introducing innovative courses.
• Committee on Academic Ethics: A body that oversees compliance with the Rules of Academic Integrity. It reviews disciplinary matters and cases involving violations of university regulations.
• Advisors and Curators: Academic mentors who help students choose elective courses and plan their individual learning pathways. Responsible staff members who support first-year student groups in matters of social adaptation, attendance, and organizational coordination.

Faculty:
Classes are taught by a highly qualified faculty, including 17 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) and Candidates of Sciences, as well as 32 holders of master’s degrees.
Among them are recipients of the international “Bolashak” scholarship and outstanding graduates of leading foreign and domestic universities, including New York Film Academy, Hult International Business School (USA), University of Leeds, University College London (United Kingdom), Communication University of China (China), Baltic International Academy (Latvia), Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (Portugal), Asia Pacific University (Malaysia), and others.
Our faculty also includes international professors from Malaysia and Nigeria, as well as industry practitioners representing leading companies in the country, such as MEDIA HOLDING “ATAMEKEN BUSINESS” LLP, the Dauletten.kz information portal, Sensata, the Qazaq Independent Directors Association, the National Institute of Intellectual Property QAZPATENT, Transtelecom JSC, and others.
