School of Cybersecurity

The School of Cybersecurity was established on September 1, 2025.

Mission of the School

To prepare specialists who are able to protect information systems, digital infrastructure, and critical facilities from cyber threats. The School develops in students modern knowledge, practical skills, and an understanding of real-world challenges in the field of cybersecurity.

The objective of the school

Develop an educational and scientific environment for training specialists in information and cybersecurity who are able to address digital security challenges in the public and private sectors.

Laboratories of the School of Cybersecurity

1. tLab Anti-APT ensures the integration of scenario-based and behavioral analysis of modern APT attacks into the educational process, based on realistic kill chain and MITRE ATT&CK, fostering research and analytical thinking in students and faculty.

2. OT/ICS Security Lab, based on Fortinet MSSP Global, provides industrial systems cybersecurity training through modeling IT/OT convergence, zoning, and monitoring, with a focus on balancing safety, security, and availability.

3. HackCity Cyber Range offers faculty a unique regional platform for learning through the simulation of cyber-physical attacks on urban infrastructure with real scenarios and interdisciplinary academia–industry–red team collaboration.

4. SOC Analytics Lab provides students and faculty with hands-on training in Tier 1–2 SOC analytics, covering the full incident lifecycle, including threat hunting, AI-assisted analysis, and working with modern SIEM/EDR tools.

5. Smart Connectivity Lab enables training in next-generation network design and protection through the modeling of Smart City ecosystems, integrating 5G/NG-RAN, IoT, edge computing, and interdisciplinary technology convergence.
