The process of admission
Important Dates:
Admission to the master's program is carried out on the following dates:
1) from August 15 to August 28 of the calendar year;
2) from December 26 to January 10 of the calendar year.

Step 1. Completion of the Comprehensive Testing (CT)
Admission to the master's program, both on a tuition-paying basis and under a state-funded grant, is conducted on a competitive basis based on the results of the Comprehensive Testing (CT).
Comprehensive Testing Schedule:
Summer Period
Registration: from June 1 to July 8 of the calendar year
Testing: from July 20 to August 10 of the calendar year
Summer Period

Winter Period
Registration: from October 28 to November 10 of the calendar year
Testing: from November 18 to December 11 of the calendar year
Comprehensive Testing (CT) is conducted in accordance with the rules approved by the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 8, 2019 No. 190, registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 13, 2019 under No. 18657.
Applicants to the scientific and pedagogical master’s program take tests in the following components:
1) foreign language (English, German, or French – by choice);
2) a test to assess readiness for learning;
3) a test in the profile of the educational program group / creative examinations.
- Admission to the scientific and pedagogical master’s program on a tuition-paying basis is carried out based on the results of Comprehensive Testing (CT) in accordance with the 150-point grading scale.
To participate in the competition, the applicant must score at least 75 points, including:
• in a foreign language — at least 25 points;
• in the first major discipline — at least 7 points;
• in the second major discipline — at least 7 points;
• in the test to assess readiness for learning — at least 7 points.
- Comprehensive Testing (CT) for admission to master’s programs in Kazakhstan is conducted by the National Testing Center (NTC) at designated examination centers, which the applicant selects independently during registration.
- After completing the testing, a certificate with the CT results is issued.

Step 2. Online Submission of Documents

It's simple - follow these steps:

- —Upload all required documents
- —Obtain preliminary approval from the Admissions Committee
- —Select a date and be sure to bring the original documents in person to the university
Important: uploading documents in the app is only the first step. To be fully enrolled, you must submit the original documents in person. Enrollment is not possible without this. The original documents must be submitted by August 24.
