In accordance with the Rules for Awarding Educational Grants for the Payment of Higher or Postgraduate Education Leading to a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, approved by Order No. 443 of the Acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 25, 2023, and in order to ensure the rational and fair allocation of vacant educational grants, a competition for the award of vacant educational grants for the 2026/2027 academic year is hereby announced.

Deadlines and Procedure for Document Submission
Applications will be accepted until July 25, 2026.
Documents must be submitted in person to the relevant School of Educational Programs.
Documents submitted after the established deadline or with an incomplete set of required documents will not be accepted for participation in the competition.

The following are not eligible to participate in the competition:
students who have academic debts based on the results of the examination session;
students who are citizens of another country;
students who were transferred/reinstated during the competition period (except where vacant grants are available for the respective educational program);
students transferred/reinstated from foreign universities who do not have a UNT/CT certificate.
Students transferred from other universities on a tuition-paying basis may participate in the competition for vacant educational grants that became available during the course of higher education, provided that they have no academic differences.
Important!
In cases where students have the same Grade Point Average (GPA), priority shall be given to students who have received only A and A- (“excellent”) grades throughout the entire period of study, followed by students whose grades range from A and A- (“excellent”) to B+, B, B-, and C+ (“good”), and then by students with mixed grades.
