Project Objective
To assess the risk of glaucoma development and predict its progression, as well as to engage students in scientific research.
Results
— Modeling of dynamic corneal deformation under air-puff loading using viscoelastic models;
— Creation of a control group including participants with and without glaucoma;
— Analysis of demographic and ocular characteristics;
— Development of optimization algorithms in MATLAB and Python to determine corneal biomechanical parameters and minimize discrepancies.
