Military registration specialties (MRS)

1) Military Journalism – students learn to create video content, write scripts, conduct interviews, and edit in military settings. 2) Cybersecurity – training specialists in information system protection (a traditional specialty for IT universities in Kazakhstan). 3) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operators – training in the control and use of drones.

Selection conditions and process

• Submission of documents: From February 1, 2026, applications will be submitted online through eGov.kz.
• Requirements: Students under 24 years of age, medically fit.

Selection stages:

• Medical examination at the Yesil Regional Military Commission (Astana, 16 Imanbaev Street).
• Professional and psychological testing.
• Physical fitness tests: running (100 m and 3000 m) and pull-ups.
• Competitive selection based on GPA (grade point average).
