On May 19, 2026, Astana IT University hosted a meeting between Gulvira Akybayeva, Vice-Rector for Academic Work, and the university's student representatives. The meeting was also attended by the directors of the Schools of Educational Programs and heads of key departments, including Department of Academic Affairs, Registrar's Office, Department of Social and Educational Work, Department of International Relations, Department of Technical Support and Maintenance, and the Career and Employment Center.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector focused on academic integrity during the examination period, emphasizing the importance of each student's responsibility for adhering to academic standards. The results of the "Faculty through the Eyes of Students" survey and the importance of feedback as an effective tool for improving the quality of the educational process were also discussed.
Students asked questions regarding the organization of the educational process, dormitory living conditions, academic mobility programs, the MyDU system, and other aspects of student life. All questions were answered in detail and clarified.
