The “AITU Hackday: Time for Industry 4.0 is now” Hackathon Held at Astana IT University
25–26 June 2026, Astana IT University hosted the “AITU Hackday: Time for Industry 4.0 is now” hackathon, organized by the Department of Science and Innovation in cooperation with the Industry 4.0 Research Center.
The hackathon brought together 17 student teams, who presented innovative projects and solutions in the field of Industry 4.0.
The primary goal of the event was to identify talented and creative students, develop their practical skills, and foster collaboration between participants, industry representatives, and the expert community. During the hackathon, the teams presented projects aimed at solving real-world challenges and developing promising technological solutions.
The total prize fund amounted to 500,000 KZT. The winners were selected following project presentations evaluated by an expert jury.

Participants had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in practice, propose solutions to current challenges, and present their projects to an expert jury.
