Double Degree program allows students to obtain two diplomas: one from Astana IT University and one from our foreign partner university.

Established in 1979, UNICAS is an Italian public University strategically located between Rome and Naples with around 7500 students, 280 academic and 250 administrative staff. UNICAS is a generalist, welcoming, and inclusive university engaged in education, research, technological transfer, and public engagement.

The Double degree program allows students to obtain:

Bachelor’s degree in «6B06202 Smart Technology», AITU

Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Telecommunication Engineering, UNICAS

Conditions and document requirements

Number of students allowed for Double degree program – max 10

Who is eligible to participate in the program?
- Only 2nd year students enrolled in «6B06202 Smart Technology»;
- Terms of participation and duration: to spend at least one academic year (3 trimesters);

What expenses do students need to cover?
1. Personal expenses for accommodation (including meals), visa expenses, insurance and travel expenses for commuting back and forth;
2. The student must pay 1,000 euros tax fees to UNICAS at the time of enrollment (non-refundable amount);
3. Minor compulsory fees for the final Diploma release and for regional tax.

The following documents are required to participate in the double degree program:

- Resume\CV
- Motivation letter
- English lot less than B2 level

Defending a degree at one university means accepting degrees from both.

Lawrence Technological University

Master of Technical Science in educational program «7M06103 Applied Data Analytics», AITU + Master of Science in Computer Science, LTU

Master of Technical Science in educational program «7M06108 Applied Artificial Intelligence», AITU + Master of Science in Business Data Analytics, LTU

Master of Technical Science in educational program «7M06106 «Secure Software Engineering», AITU +
1)Master of Science in Computer Science (LTU);
2) Master of Science in Information Technology (LTU);
3) Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (LTU).

Conditions and document requirements

Who is eligible to participate in the program?

Only 1st year Master degree students enrolled in:
- «7M06103 Applied Data Analytics»;
- «7M06108 Applied Artificial Intelligence» ;
- «7M06106 «Secure Software Engineering».

What expenses do students need to cover?
Personal expenses for accommodation (including meals)- approximately 12 000$ per academic year, visa expenses (12 000$ savings for getting visa), insurance and travel expenses for commuting back and forth;

The following documents are required to participate in the double degree program:
- Transcript
- Resume\CV
- Motivation letter
- English: proficiency in spoken and written English (TOEFL iBT 90/IELTS 6.5/105 on the Duolingo test)

Students prepare one master's thesis each, which they defend at both universities.

Fachhochschule Dortmund - University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FHDO)

The Fachhochschule Dortmund, officially known as the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, is a public university founded in 1971. The university located in the city of Dortmund, a major urban centre in the Ruhr region, known for its rich industrial heritage and cultural attractions.

The Double degree program allows students to obtain:

Master of Technical Sciences in the programme «7M06105 Computer Science & Engineering», AITU + Master Digital Transformation, FHDO

Master of Technical Sciences in the programm 7M06103 «Applied Data Analytics», AITU + Master Digital Transformation, FHDO

Conditions and document requirements

Number of students allowed for Double degree program – max 5

Who is eligible to participate in the program?
- Only 1st year Master degree students enrolled in:
- «7M06105 «Computer Science & Engineering»;
- 7M06103 «Applied Data Analytics»
- Students with bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business Informatics, or a similar field;

What expenses do students need to cover?
Personal expenses for accommodation (including meals), visa expenses, insurance and travel expenses for commuting back and forth;

The following documents are required to participate in the double degree program:
- Transcript
- Resume\CV
- Motivation letter
- English: proficiency in spoken and written English (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)

Students complete one master's thesis, which will be presented and defended at both universities separately
