Donor Day was held at Astana IT University
On May 19, 2026, Donor Day was held at Astana IT University in collaboration with the “Scientific and Production Center of Transfusiology of Astana.” Students and university staff took part in the campaign, demonstrating social responsibility and willingness to help those in need.
The donor reception was carried out by specialists of the transfusiology center in compliance with all санитарно-эпидемиологических requirements and medical standards. The blood donation procedure was organized in safe and comfortable conditions using only sterile disposable instruments and medical supplies.
Within five hours, 61 participants expressed their willingness to take part in the campaign, of whom 48 successfully became blood donors.
After the donation procedure, participants received certificates granting an additional day off, as well as meal compensation in the amount of 0.25 MCI.
