Learning outcomes

  • Master fundamental knowledge of the state and law, their historical development, the constitutional structure and the system of state authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan; apply national and international legal norms in professional practice.
  • Interpret and correctly apply laws and other normative legal acts; professionally qualify legal facts and circumstances; make and implement legal decisions taking into account the specifics of legal regulation of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and information security.
  • Draft legal documents competently (contracts, legal opinions, procedural acts, complaints, petitions), including through the use of electronic document management systems, taking into account documentation requirements in the field of information systems, artificial intelligence, and information security.
  • Analyze and effectively resolve legal issues in civil, administrative, labor, financial, criminal, and other branches of law, addressing matters related to the legal regulation of digital technologies, information protection, the functioning of information systems, and the application of artificial intelligence; participate in dispute resolution while ensuring the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of individuals and organizations.
  • Use modern information and digital tools (legal databases, eGov, electronic document management, analytical services); apply data analysis methods and artificial intelligence technologies to search for, process, and interpret legal information.
  • Collect, analyze, and present evidence, including electronic data; apply forensic methods and digital tools in the investigation of legal violations, ensuring information protection and compliance with information security requirements.
  • Conduct legal research using methods of scientific analysis and critical information evaluation; independently search and analyze legal sources to solve professional tasks; confidently formulate and present oral and written arguments; develop legal reasoning and advocacy skills through participation in debates, moot courts, and other forms of professional communication.
  • Provide legal advice in business, intellectual property, and private international law; support business projects and transactions, including drafting and reviewing electronic and cross-border contracts; assess and mitigate legal risks.
  • Interact effectively in a professional environment, collaborate with specialists from different fields; conduct negotiations and mediation; adhere to professional ethics and social responsibility; demonstrate tolerance and readiness for cooperation in a multicultural and multilingual context.
  • Carry out professional oral and written communication in Kazakh, Russian, and English; draft and analyze legal documents in three languages; work and interact effectively in the international legal environment.
