Announcement on the Competition for the Award of Vacant Educational Grants
In accordance with the Rules for Awarding Educational Grants for Higher and Postgraduate Education Leading to the Degrees of Bachelor's or Master's, approved by Order No. 443 of the Acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 25, 2023, and for the purpose of ensuring the fair and efficient allocation of vacant educational grants, a competition is hereby announced for the award of vacant educational grants for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Applications will be accepted until July 25, 2026.
Documents must be submitted in person to the respective School of Educational Programmes.
Applications submitted after the deadline or with incomplete documentation will not be considered.
The following applicants are not eligible to participate in the competition:
• students with academic debts based on the examination session results;
• students holding citizenship of another country;
• students transferred or reinstated during the competition period (except where vacant grants are available for the relevant educational programme);
• students transferred or reinstated from foreign universities who do not possess a UNT/CT certificate.
Students transferred from other universities on a tuition-fee basis may participate in the competition for vacant educational grants released during the course of higher education, provided they have no academic differences.
Important!
If applicants have the same GPA, priority will be given to students who have received only grades A and A– ("Excellent") throughout their entire period of study. Next in priority are students with grades ranging from A, A– ("Excellent") to B+, B, B–, C+ ("Good"), followed by students with mixed grades.
