The delegation included Sébastien de Courtois, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Affairs at the Embassy of France in Kazakhstan; Philippe Jefré, an expert from the French organisation Expertise France; and Alibi Baiturin, Secretary General of the Lumières Foundation. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in education, science, and technology.
Special attention was given to joint projects in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital technologies, as well as to the development of research and the commercialisation of innovations.
The guests also visited the Smart City, CyberTech, and FabLab research centres, where they learned about the University’s educational, research, and technological infrastructure.
The meeting marked an important step in advancing Kazakhstan–France cooperation and identifying new joint projects in education, science, technology, and innovation.
