FR13NDS TEAM took second place in the RomHack CTF 2026 finals in Italy
On October 2–3, 2026, the From Dusk Till Dawn CTF 2026 finals were held in Rome, Italy, as part of the international RomHack Camp 2026 conference. The competition took the form of a 12-hour overnight marathon, running from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
More than 400 teams from around the world registered for the online qualifiers held on May 9–10. Our team, FR13NDS TEAM, took first place in the qualifying round and became one of the top five teams invited to the on-site finals in Rome.
A distinctive feature of the competition was the prohibition of AI assistants and autonomous AI agents, including ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, and others. The only exception was the MiniMax M3 model accessed through OpenRouter, with each team receiving a symbolic $5 credit to complete minor tasks.
