Large-scale restoration of ecosystems using modern technologies is an urgent task, climate change processes have accelerated, and systemic approaches are required to ensure green growth of flora and biodiversity. Sustainable and healthy ecosystems are natural carbon stores and sinks and a tool for adaptation to climate change. Existing solutions for ecosystem development need to be integrated with scientific and innovative IT solutions.

Propose

Implementation of large-scale projects based on interdisciplinary research in the field of digital technologies to introduce into the process of management and increase productivity, livestock breeding, automation of production processes, as well as reducing the negative impact on the environment.

Mission

The mission of the AgroTech Center is to develop and improve innovative agricultural technologies that can improve the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural production. Creation and implementation of innovative methods and technologies based on advanced scientific information and modern technological solutions.

Tasks

development of scientific and methodological approach to assessing the economic and environmental potential of forest ecosystems in different zones of Kazakhstan using modeling and forecasting methods;
development and optimization of forestry management systems in the republic, taking into account the characteristics of regions and forest resources in the context of climate change;
identification of current problems in forestry (cutting down, degradation, fire) in Kazakhstan, development of IT systems that ensure the conservation, multiplication and sustainable management of forests and forestry using infrared cameras, satellite, drone-UAV monitoring tools;
implementation of scientifically based IT solutions, remote sensing tools, marking for administrative, management and landscape and forestry organization of the green belt territory;
development of information technologies to automate the production process when growing production fields;
using sensors and drones to monitor and manage agricultural land.

AgroTech team has extensive experience in implementing grant and program-targeted financing projects in the field of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex.
