Astana IT University founders

The Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation – is the first public organization in the educational space of Kazakhstan and CIS countries that has successfully integrated its innovative schools and universities into the international education. Today the Foundation actively shares its experience in Kazakhstan and abroad.

Scientific Board

The Scientific Board of the University is one of the forms of collegial management of a higher educational institution. The Scientific Board of the University is created by order of the rector of the University.

Academic council

Executive and decision-making body for the development of policies in the field of teaching, learning and other academic processes at the University.

Scientific and Technical Council

The Scientific and Technical Council is the highest expert advisory body of the university in the field of the formation of scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities.

Institutional accreditation is an assessment of activity of educational organization on qualitative representation of educational programs in accordance with the stated status and set by the standards of accreditated body.

Specialized

Specialized accreditation – quality assessment of separate education programs, implemented by educational organization.

National

National accreditation – accreditation of an educational organization or educational program by an accreditation agency within the country.

International

International accreditation – accreditation of an educational program by a foreign accreditation agency.
