CyberTech Research and Innovation Center – conducts research in the following areas: digital forensics, reverse engineering, AI engineering, software development, electrical engineering, and electronics.
Research Center Director: L.G. Rzayeva
In recent years, digital technologies have grown exponentially, which, in turn, has led to an increase in the complexity and scale of cyber threats. Under these conditions, ensuring national security requires the development of advanced methods and tools in cybersecurity and digital forensics. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into these areas opens new horizons for data analysis, threat detection, and investigations.
The CyberTech Research and Innovation Center was created in response to these challenges. By combining the scientific and innovative potential of Astana IT University, the center directs the efforts of leading scientists, practicing experts, and talented students to create breakthrough solutions. Our work makes a significant contribution to strengthening technological sovereignty and protecting digital borders.
The primary mission of the CyberTech Research Center is to unite scientists, innovators, practitioners, and students to create advanced digital products aimed at protecting national security. We strive to provide law enforcement and government agencies with cutting-edge technologies to effectively counter modern cyberthreats.
Creation and implementation of the country’s first integrated solution in digital forensics and cybersecurity. Our goal is to develop innovative technologies and intelligent hardware and software systems that will automate and improve the efficiency of digital investigations using artificial intelligence.
The CyberTech Research Center team is led by Director and Associate Professor Leila Gummetovna Rzayeva. It is a multidisciplinary team of 30 experts, including cyberforensics specialists, cryptographers, reverse engineers, software developers, AI engineers, and electrical and electronic engineers. Master’s students actively participate in the project implementation. and faculty of Astana IT University.
