Astana IT University invites students in grades 7–12 to participate in the Republican Drone Programming Competition.
- Application period: September 13 – October 10, 2025
- Final: October 9–10, 2025, at AITU (Astana)
- Format: online + offline
- Participation: free
- Team composition: one student (born in 2013) and one mentor (teacher)

- Center for the Identification and Support of Gifted Children and Talented Youth “Astana Daryny” under the Akimat of Astana city
Competition stages:
- Online Q&A session – 1 hour
- Online training for mentors – 2 hours
- Online tracking session for mentors to prepare the student – 1 month
- Final – offline: team competition (student + mentor) – 2 days, October 9–10, 2025
All expenses for the final stage (travel, accommodation, meals) are covered by the sending party; organizers do not cover these costs.
Prizes:
- Certificates for training as a “UAV Operator”
- Souvenir gifts from partners
- Finalist certificates for all participants of the final
Notably, the competition has been added to the “Ұстаз” platform, which makes it even easier for teachers to involve students.
