The results of the republican essay contest “Kazakhstan-Russia: our cosmos” were summed up in Kokshetau, organized by the private institution IAC “Institute of Eurasian Policy” (Kazakhstan/Kokshetau) with the support of the Akmola Regional Association of Russian Language Teachers and the Ural-Eurasia Expert Club (Russia/Yekaterinburg).
This year the whole world celebrates the 60th anniversary of the first human flight into space. As you know, this feat was performed by Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, who flew into near-Earth orbit from the Kazakh land. It was on this date that the essay contest was timed, the participants of which were invited to dream about how the joint space exploration of Kazakhstan and Russia would continue after 200-300 years. ⠀
