In 2021, Astana IT University focused its activities on the formation of a sustainable scientific and innovative ecosystem in close cooperation with foreign research centers and the support of government agencies and industrial partners.
Today, AITU carries out research in the IT field in multidisciplinary areas: smart systems and technologies, digital twins, EdTech, FinTech, AgroTech and energy systems. Projects are carried out under program-targeted and grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as under self-financing agreements with enterprises.
