This section took a special place in the festival program and was prepared by the AITU Department of Cybersecurity. This year, the competition brought together more than 600 participants and 180 teams, creating a truly intense and competitive environment.

The Cybersecurity CTF section, prepared by the AITU Cybersecurity Department, brought together over 600 participants and 180 teams this year, creating a highly intense and competitive environment.

Participants competed in a Jeopardy-style CTF, solving challenges of varying difficulty across Web, Reverse Engineering, PWN, Cryptography, Forensics, Misc, OSINT and SCADA categories.

Top teams gained access to the HackCity cyber range and executed controlled incidents such as stopping the Astana LRT train, shutting down oil extraction equipment, and cutting electricity in a business center.

2nd place — mimicats, Al-Farabi KazNU

3rd place — Pelmeni, AITU
