Connections were established between solutions of two-layer Schrödinger-type equations and coupled spin systems in 1+1 and 2+1 dimensions.
The project is aimed at studying the algebraic-geometric approach to soliton theory and establishing equivalence between integrable evolution equations using the properties of Lie algebras and gauge transformations. The results are theoretical in nature and can be used in soliton theory, equations of mathematical physics, and differential geometry.
