We currently have over 1,000 international students enrolled. AU is ranked 4th among public universities and 6th among all universities for hiring foreign academics. AU has an annual mobility of 1100 and above through academic exchange programs. Our university is one of the leading universities in Turkey with the highest level of internationalization in terms of the number of international students, international academic employment and exchange mobility. Our university fulfills all the global requirements of internationalization within a certain strategy. In addition, our university continues the process of internationalization by developing collaborative research projects carried out on an international scale, creating international couples or joint programs, collaborating with universities and research centers abroad, and organizing events such as international congresses and seminars. Ankara University is a member of the Silk Road Universities Network, the European University Association (EUA), the Magna Carta Universitat and the Network of Universities of European Capitals in Higher Education.
